LIFESTYLE TIPS FOR HEALTHY LIVING-
Apply most of your intelligence
*Eat
Right: To a certain extent, you are what you eat! Maintain balanced diet, at right time &
right quantity. Avoid fatty/oily foods to help prevent health risks. Avoid unnecessary snacking in between. Eat
only when you are hungry & drink enough water.
*Sleep Well: You'll
be most rejuvenated if you go to bed early and don't sleep more than 8 hours.
If you stay up late and compensate by sleeping late, you'll wake up lethargic
and have trouble focusing.
* Do Exercise & Walking: Time spent exercising always leads to greater learning because it improves productivity during the time afterwards. Using your body clears your head and creates a wave of energy. Afterwards, you feel invigorated and can concentrate more easily. Walking is the safest exercise for whole body, for all ages and increases oxygen flow to the brain.
*Escape from Busy Disease & Relax: Stress is a very common word these days! The pace of our lives is constantly increasing. Most of the people feel that they are just so busy & got so much to do. The BUSY DISEASE is spreading fast even with children. This disease of being “busy” (the dis-ease of being busy, when we are never at ease) is spiritually destructive to our health and wellbeing. Don’t trouble children so much that you over schedule them, making them stressed and busy — just like us?
We have had so many new
technological innovations that we thought (or were promised) would make our
lives easier, faster & simpler. Yet, we have no more “free” or leisurely
time today than we did decades ago. The lines between work and home have become
blurred since we are on our devices like smart phones, laptops etc. Handling
even the flood of emails has become a herculean task. In this materialistic world, the desires are unlimited.
To meet the demands, countless gadgets are made available in the market. Some greedy people acquire so many costly
gadgets but have no time to even look at them.
Now-a-days, relaxation available often takes the form of action-filled
(yet mindless) films, or violent and face-paced
sports. Instead of relaxing, they may cause agitation & anxiety.
The world in which we can sit with the
people we love so much and have slow conversations about the state of our heart
and soul has gone. We are wrongly creating a world in which we have more and
more to do with less time for leisure,
less time for reflection, less time for community, less time to just… be? Human
touch is disappearing and we are becoming robots.
Don’t forget that we are human beings,
not human doings? We should not become just a machine, checking off items from
our to-do list. This is a horribly destructive habit to ruin the essence of
life.
It is highly important to find ways to provide some “free” time and reduce the stress levels that are built up daily. Getting rid of stress is crucial to your health.
*Avoid staying
Idle: To avoid busy disease, staying idle is not
a solution. Keeping idle is already known danger. Idle man is busy with devil’s
mind.
Don’t stay
idle, but get engaged fully and constructively. Work for your goals willingly
and happily and set your targets if and only if all that is possible and
workable. Don’t become too greedy to grab everything in the world. Eat as much
as you can chew, as already said in an old saying. Otherwise, you will again
fall prey for busy disease.
*Watch Television Selectively: Enjoy TV viewing by your choice.
Don’t become prey for TV serials. Your addiction to serial programmes will kill
your valuable time for long on daily basis.
Just
watching television alone doesn't use your mental capacity OR allow it to
recharge. When you feel like relaxing, try reading a book instead. If you're
too tired, listen to some music. When you're with your friends or family, leave
the TV off and have a conversation. All of these things use your mind more than
television and allow you to relax.
*Take Time to Reflect: Often our lives get so hectic that we become overwhelmed without even realizing it. It becomes difficult to concentrate because nagging thoughts keep interrupting. Spending some time alone in reflection gives you a chance organize your thoughts and prioritize your responsibilities. Anything that allows a bit of prolonged solitude will do. For example, take a solitary walk.

*Love Is Important: Believe it or not, love is linked to health. Those who love are less
prone to several diseases and health problems.
Whether you love a companion, your kids, grandkids, friends or a pet, it
truly is the thought that counts when it comes to feelings of love.
*Be Happy Always: Happiness is vital to your health. A
negative or bitter outlook on life is linked to several diseases. By thinking
happy thoughts and wishing others well, we can help keep a positive mindset and
be cheerful despite the adversities that constantly threaten to bring us down.
*Smile to make
yourself happier &others too: Scientists
have found that the simple act of smiling (yes, even forced smiles count!) can
lower blood pressure and release stress, giving you an instant mood boost. Keep smiling because smiling always starts the healing.
SMILE---THE EFFECTIVE VACCINATION,
LAUGHTER----THE BEST MEDICATION,
HUMOR----------THE BEST RELAXATION,

HUMOR----------THE BEST RELAXATION,
Much like exercise, laughter and humor
release endorphins that improve your
mood & sense of well-being. So watch
something funny on TV, enjoy jokes with your family and friends or read fun-
filled books.
* Avoid Lying in Bed for
Long:When you are not sleeping, lying in bed
for long is actually unhealthy.
Don’t watch TV or read books when you are
lying down in bed.
Remember, you burn more calories while sleeping than you do watching TV.
*Sitting Long Is Even More Dangerous: Too much sitting shortens your life. People with sitting jobs have twice the rate of cardiovascular disease as people with standing jobs. With the advent of TV, computers and the desk job, we are sitting down more time than ever before. The human body is not built for that. If you have a sitting job, make it a point to get up at least every half an hour and stretch yourself.

*
Avoid Living In Closed Doors: Get a minimum of 15 minutes exposure of your body to sunlight to gather
vitamin-D naturally. Fresh air is required to supply enough pure oxygen to your
body.
*Kissing Is Healthy: Don’t ignore. Utilise it.
*It Is Good To Cry: Cry out
tears to release toxic waters from the body. Don’t hold tears like most of the men do. No wonder, women live longer than men,
because they won’t stop tears! Children too cry fast and it is good.
*Keep Control Of Emotions: Emotions are very harmful to our body. We have to practice the habit of
keeping check on them. ANGER affects the liver, GRIEF weakens the lungs, STRESS
strains the both heart & brain, FEAR
damages the kidney, Worry spoils the stomach.
*Prefer Simple & Principled life: Keep away from all vices.
Always do good for you, without doing bad to
others.
Earning by wrong means will lead to losing
peace in life. Peace is the key for good health.
Keep away from the most evil eight letter
word-“JEALOUSY”. Instead of envying
others’ success, take the clue and work for that or to achieve even better.
Take others’ achievements, if you like and if possible, as your targets.
Realise that the pleasure is more in giving
away rather than gathering more & more for yourself.
Do some useful service to the society.
Service to mankind is service to God. Spending a Peaceful life is a blessing.
If you think good of everybody, that brings
good to you.
If you make others happy, that will bring
happiness back to you.
If you do good to others, all goodness will
come back to you someday.
*Prayer & healing: Don’t leave out God and prayer- the most important ingredients. Pray
God always and should be grateful to God for the kindness he bestowed on us.
Faith and
prayer can make impossible things possible. Still don’t expect God will do
everything while you do nothing. Ask him
to give strength and guidance to face the real world troubles. Work hard sincerely to achieve your goals in life.
Take care of your body; It is
the only place you have to live all your life.
